I
would suggest that the manufacturer's spec be reviewed for this
information (hole size and spacing). The recommendation to solder or not
solder should be a customer requirement for the assy of the module based on the
number of mates the connector will have in field
applications.

Where do I
find information regarding hole size, plating thickness recommedations
regarding whether these should subsequently be soldered etc?
