IPC has just released three important training products on: IPC-A-610C, Hand Soldering and Component ID.

1. IPC-A-610C Certification Training on Video (SMT & TH Evaluation)
IPC has released a new two-videotape set for IPC-A-610C Worker Proficiency / Certification Training, designed to provide help for students who have trouble learning the A-610 requirements, have missed a training class, and to support the Class A Instructor by presenting a massive amount of material to students in a concise and standardized manner.
The two 40-minute tapes cover through-hole and surface mount evaluation criteria (including the A-610C "Forward" material), and are the easiest and best way to insure that your operators and inspectors understand all of the changes in the new C Revision of the IPC-A-610.

3. IPC Component ID Desk Ref. Manual Upgrade and Clip-Art CD
IPC's popular "Component Identification Desk Reference Manual" (DRM-18), has been completely revised and improved. This handy manual now includes new computer-generated graphics, a comprehensive introduction, additional information on packaging, component values and schematic symbols for all of the most common component types. It's a whole new document! There's also a companion clip art CD which includes over 200 images of 3D components and other photographs from the manual, so you can make your own top-notch training materials for component ID.
