To get back to a more PCB related theme. One phone manufacturer has specified that devices in their phone must withstand a 1500g shock. That comes from measured values of deceleration at moment of impact between a phone and the ground when dropped from ear height. To get away from PCB's again FYI an artillery shell sees about 20000 G as it travels up the barrel.....
