Many of our projects are multiple up boards in a panel. There are times when we only populate a partial panel and save the remaining boards for later runs. We use the local fiducials to show the pick and place machines which boards to populate. My question is, anyone have any ideas on what to use to hide the fiducials on the boards you don't want populated? On X'd out boards, we use a black marker, but that doesn't work on these as we need to use the fiducials at a later date. I thought about using a black label from the local office supply store, but I really want something that doesn't burn up in the reflow or leave a sticky residue. Any suggestions?
