TechNetters, our technicians in the manufacturing area have been struggling to keep bottles of process chemicals labeled. The bottles themselves are static-safe, I understand. The sales manager of the bottle company has advised us that our labels need to be "conductive", and that the ink itself will hold a charge if it is not "antistatic". How concerned do we need to be about the labels and ink on such bottles? I'd like to give our techs a scientific, technet-style answer. We have wrist straps, along with dissipative floor and coats. As always, thanks for any comments.
