Regarding prepreg I also know there are several properties such as R/F, S/F, G/T, R/C, V/C. Actually most of our prepreg suppliers provide above data through the inspection report whenever they send materials to us. The thing that I really would like to know is what property is the most influential in controlling board thickness when we make multilayer board among R/C, S/F, R/F or other thing? And I think after buying mini-press, checking scaled flow value at the incoming inspection is the labor loss. If you work for PWB manufacturing company, Does your company also check the scaled flow value at the incoming inspection? If so or not , please tell me the reason. There are many parameters involved in making and controling prepreg. Just checking two, one of which is subjective, is not adequate. Scaled flow testing will not always tell you what is wrong with the prepreg but will let you know that the product itself has some factor that is out of spec.
