TechNetters, May I have some guidance on calibration of a GenRad in-circuit tester? GenRad has quoted US$3240 for calibration (said to be a full day's work), 1100 (5 hours at 220/hour) for travel (Massachusetts to Pittsburgh area), and 750 for expenses. Total is 5090, a big number to me. What do other assemblers do to maintain ICTs and keep them calibrated? Thanks for any comments.
