Maybe someone out there can save me a few hours slog through catalogues and specs. We're selling an MCM which has 0402 caps and zero ohm links soldered onto the base. Our customer wants to impose a tight tolerance on the height of the parts. I think that the height of a generic 0402 can vary from 0.40mm to 0.80mm high. Is this correct or am I being pessimistic?
