Techies,
Here's a question for the assembly folks and manufacturing
engineers. I want to specify a test connector and its backshell to be
riveted together. What I want to specify is a pop-rivet. That way, the
rivets can just be loaded in a gun and installed during low quantity
production.
I can easily call up 400+ rivet specs and processes online (IHS
Specs and Standards). I'm looking for a recommendation for "industry
standard" pop-rivets and process specs. Anybody got a clue?
By the way, if I'm off-base here, somebody tell me. I can easily
specify a solid rivet to be rolled over. I'm trying to keep this relatively
cheap and easy to install.

Thanks for you help,
