Hi Werner, I will try to still your curiosity. Sending you some delicate pictures offline. Hope you cope with the views, so I don't get blamed for sending too upsetting pictures. Is there possibly a 'Playboy' also for soldering? Can imagin a midpage in Circuit World showing exciting IMCs and etched samples?...He-he. Have a nice day and avoid lead poisoning Ingemar PS. Will check in Wassink and AWS's handbook. -----Original Message----- From: [log in to unmask] [mailto:[log in to unmask]] Sent: den 21 januari 2001 03:33 To: [log in to unmask]; [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: [TN] squashed pancakes Hi Ingemar, You did not give the thermal history, but to get "Ni/Tin IMC is many microns" thick you need to sit at high temperatures for a long time--not just one or 2 reflows. Just look up the Ni-dissolution rate in Sn in Klein-Wassink. I would love to see those pictures together wioth the history.
