Lead protrusionSounds a little wacky to me. You can use unpopulated Via
holes for test points if you select the correct test pins.

  One of our customers requires a minimum lead protrusion after soldering of
through hole components of 0.8 mm.

  IPC 610 requires only "end is discernible in solder" for supported holes.

  The reason for the customer's requirement is that "ICT test pins may not
have good contact on shorter protrusions".

  Until now we did not encounter such a problem, and I would like to know if
others have a similar requirement.
