Hello Tony, Unfortunately, I cannot answer your question directly since our ammoniacal etcher is rather old (around 15-18). It is a Schmid machine, a very reliable piece of equipment. What I can ell you that I have heard good things about Hollmuller. I'll allow myself to give an advice (which you may already know) - check the machine out also from maintenance standpoint. I have Scmid machines and another kind. The Schmid took one day for two people to asseble, plug and run and might have ben done even faster. The other one took more than a wek, for more than 5 people. In the Scmid machines it is very clear what yo need to dissasemble and how you put it back, with the other one - it's a quiz. So, do consider this also. I suppose that I will be in your place in about one year. I am very interested what your findings will be and what the final decision will be. If possible, please let me know. The three systems we are interested in are Hollmuller, Atotech/Chemcut 547xi, and Dalux CF or EF series. Any input or information would be greatly appreciated.
