Kris Have you taken a look at your feeders? I have next to no knowledge with Universal equipment, but having worked with placing tiny components, I have learned that feeder calibration is essential. Check for pocket alignment and backlash. Trevor -----Original Message----- From: Stella Neyman [mailto:[log in to unmask]] Sent: Thursday, November 16, 2000 8:34 AM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: [TN] 0402 issues To All, I have been experiencing problems picking up 0402 components using Universal HSP4796 chipshooters. Feeders and nozzles are clean and fairly well maintained. The components are from Rohm. Packaging and parts are within manufacturer's spec. Is anyone else having the same sort of problem? Thanks in advance!
