Hello, Does anyone have experience reflowing 68-pin PCMCIA connectors successfully? Our assembly shop is hand placing right now because they claim the weight of the connector at the contact end causes the pins to lift up during reflow. There has been discussion on making up a carrier for the panels but I'm wondering how other assembly shops handle these components. And on that note, the housing that we place these cards in is modified in-house as we require the back end of the board to be visible. I'm looking for a manufacturer that can do a custom case but am having zero success finding someone who wants the business. If there are any suggestions, please contact me off-line. Thanks.
