My turn to ask for some assistance: I need a simple, reliable test to determine if a piece of material is CPVC as opposed to PVC. I bought material from a "reputable" source (although the salesperson was a bit ditzy) to fab a replacement part exposed to 150 deg F at 60 PSI (aqueous cleaner) and the part failed due to deformation. I don't want to redo this over and over. If I can determine the composition is not CPVC, I'd remake it in the correct material, but if it truly is CPVC, I'll have to bite the bullet and build it in $tainle$$ $teel. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Regards, Ed Popielarski QTA Machine 10 Mc Laren, Ste.
