Hi to all, We are a medium size company doing mainly broadband RF designs (5MHz to 1Ghz) for the cable industries. Our PCBs are usualy 2 layers, components on 1 side. We use mainly 0805 packages for caps and res. Price is a high concern to us. Since we notice a lot of delays in the delivery of 0805 packages, we are looking on switching to 0603 or most probably 0402 packages. Do any of you have opinions on this switch? We noticed that the price of parts will get higher, will there be major technical difficulties in design or assemblies of PCBs? Do any of you looked at or made the switch? Do you have any recommandations about the switch? Just trying to get more opinions on the table, Thanks to all, Dominic Gagnier [log in to unmask] ############################################################## TechNet Mail List provided as a free service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8c ############################################################## To subscribe/unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the body: To subscribe: SUBSCRIBE TECHNET <your full name> To unsubscribe: SIGNOFF TECHNET ############################################################## Please visit IPC web site (http://www.ipc.org/html/forum.htm) for additional information.
