Well, The 0402's have a tendency to fall off when wave soldering. It is possible to glue the component so you can pass them though the wave. However, I would recommend looking at other alternatives first. One alternative is to use a selective solder pallet to shield the component. Or you can solder mask the component. I recommend using tape as a solder mask if at all possible. (Tape has no cure time). I'm sure there are even more alternatives that I can't think of right now.
