Sounds almost holeproof Kevin, no idea how fast you land the blades, i'd prefer hydraulics than air to land the blades softly but firmly. You said the spring is slight = no flex, = ok pk -----Original Message----- From: [log in to unmask] [mailto:[log in to unmask]] Sent: Friday, 2 June 2000 4:33 To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: [TN] V-Score--stress Great discussion material. Will someone poke holes in this method, its close to die cut but not quite. A 30 degree angled blade across the width on the bottom side of the V-score, and as component placement will allow, individual 60 degree blades along the top side of the V- score, with slight pressure (spring loaded bar) applied to the outer edge of the board to aid in separation. Top and bottom blades are air cylinder powered. Components are to close to edge for rotary blades, laser cut will add to much cost, water jet is just out. Thanks, Kevin W.
