Ken - We found it necessary to totally isolate the silicone conformal coating process from all other processes to prevent cross contamination. This included the appllication area, coating mixing and spray equipment, spray booths, curing ovens, etc. To do otherwise poses a significant risk that traces of silicone will migrate onto other products and interfere with bonding of adhesives or coatings.
