<< Hello All!

 Good day!

I am looking for a low cost rework station. I will basically use it in
removing SMT components (SOIC's, PLCC's, QFP's and small chips). Does anyone
have any recommendations?

 Thank you..

 Best regards,

Hi Eric!

Go to: http://www.hakkousa.com/ and then look under Hot Air Rework. I've used
a Hakko 850 before and it gets the job done. Pretty operator dependant, but
once you get the "feel" for it, you can rework just about anything...I've
even reworked a BGA socket one time...well, I took it off anyway, couldn't
get it back on though (GRIN).
