Package Design Engineers

We have junior- and senior-level openings for designers of high density, high performance laminate substrates for flip chip BGAs, using X-LAM’s Ultra Via technology.  Candidates should have previous experience doing physical lay­out of printed circuit boards and/or multilayer thin-film interconnect, preferably using Cadence APD.  Previous experience with AutoCAD, Windows NT, elec­trical modeling and simulation tools also desirable.  (Job# XL0421-PDE)

Package Test Manager

We are seeking a qualified individual who will be in charge of staffing and managing a team a team of engineers and technicians responsible for all phases of development and manufacturing test for X-LAM’s high density lami­nate substrates.  This will include selection, purchase, installation and lining-up of test equipment and software.  In addition, to establish test capability and support for product characterization, reliability testing, test procedures report­ing systems and running the day-to-day test operation.  Candidates must pos­ses a BS or MS in a relevant engineering curriculum along with 5-10 years of work experience. Test Engineers

The X-LAM team is looking for engineers who will develop test solutions for our high density interconnects.  They will be responsible for the development of all test solutions for final test, process control and components reliability.  These individuals will be working closely with process engineers to help bring our new manufacturing plant up to large volume production.  Candidates should posses BS degree in EE, CE or Physics with minimum 3 years experience.
