Good morning Technetters, I have been set a new mission at work - nice in that I get to do something different to the norm, not so nice in that all my past work and research takes bottom priority [shelved]. My question, before I diagress - is there a standard for the way PCBs / PWBs are wrapped prior to being sent to the customer, and then one for how they are stored on receipt (short and long term). I ask as one of our suppliers wants to send us bare boards in plastic packs with no separation, whereas we want them delivered in acid free, lint free, tissue. If I can show them a standard to prove that they are putting quality at risk, or at least explain the drawbacks of their method of manufacture, then they might change for the better. Thanks for reading this folks, Have a good day, Regards, Richard Tilbrook Student Engineer. ############################################################## TechNet Mail List provided as a free service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8c ############################################################## To subscribe/unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the body: To subscribe: SUBSCRIBE TECHNET <your full name> To unsubscribe: SIGNOFF TECHNET ############################################################## Please visit IPC web site (http://www.ipc.org/html/forum.htm) for additional information.
