Hi All!

We just got some BGA's in (it was a shortage for a kit), and there were a few
parts that were missing balls. I looked at the parts under a microscope and
observed that each ball had some gouges in the sides of the ball.

I'm assuming that those gouges are from an electrical test that's done on the
part, and always occur on BGA's...I just never noticed it before. Is my
assumption correct?

Or is this something I should worry about with these parts? (The one's
without the balls I'm rejecting of course...)
