We have just started looking at a potential laser soldering project. We want to reflow a small <1mm dia solder bead which is in a well. We know of companies like Lumonics, but I understand that their stuff might be too powerful for us (would I be correct in saying that they do 50W minimum lasers, and we would probably be OK with more like 5W?). I am looking for some suppliers of equipment, and would welcome any suggestions.
