Hello Tech-net:
Could anyone offer an opinion as to the differences between
white immersion and silver surface coatings?
My concerns center on the following:
corrosion incidence
conductivity benefits
storage life
The goal is optimum coating choice for BGA applications which
will allow for assembly friendly results. Is silver better or is white
immersion. We want to step away from HASL and OSP coatings.
