<< Hi everyone,

I received a CAD file with a *.pcb extension from a customer. The
gerber viewer I have (GerbTool) does not allow me to view this type of file.
It is an ASCII format. Would anybody know a software (freeware preferably)
that would allow me to view this type of file.

 Thanks !

Hi Philippe!

Go to: http://www.ipc.org then to online resources and databases, and you'll
find a link for Lavenir Viewmate, a free gerber viewer that I use all the
time. Haven't found many files at all that I can't look at from all sorts of
CAD packages. Real easy to use too.
