Depending on the mesh used and how the mask is being applied,.015 dia holes should plug no problem. Our average is about 5 tenths after final cure and we are having no problems plugging via's and may have done so on some of your companies boards. -----Original Message----- From: TechNet [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Wolfe, Robert Sent: Tuesday, February 29, 2000 11:59 AM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: [TN] LPI Solder Mask Thickness Technet, What is the general range of thickness that can be held with LPI mask.? Is it in the .0006 inch range or is it up around .001-.002 inch? If it is really in the .0006 area it could not possibly cover a .015 dia hole and another via plug or fill prior to solder mask would need to be done to fill these holes? We may have inadvertanly noted LPI to be .001-.002 thick and should have stated .002 MAX. TIA Bob Wolfe Executone Inter-Tel Business Information Systems Robert M.
