Sounds like a design file database, possibly PADS
PCB package.

Subject: [TN] Opening *.pcb CAD files

                                Hi everyone,

I received a CAD file with a *.pcb
extension from a customer. The
gerber viewer I have (GerbTool) does not
allow me to view this type of file.
It is an ASCII format. Would anybody know a
software (freeware preferably)
that would allow me to view this type of
file.

                                Thanks !

                                Philippe O'Reilly
