Hi Francis and all, 3 mils over 6 inches is huge! Any changes in temp. & rel. humidity between the printing or inspection environments? Your film might be shrinking or expanding. We have tight tolerances for our inner layers +/- .5 mil on the artwork and were not doing 1 mil lines. Does your photoplotter have air bladders? It could be misprinting or the rollers could be stretching the film. (So says Patty, our design engineer super-heroine.) Hans ~~~~~~~~ Hans M. Hinners Materials (& Process!) We are experiencing a > 3 mil shift in a 6in by 6 in film.
