Hello TechNet gurus,

Just after some comment on the correct orientation for wave soldering of
SOT-23 devices.
I've always placed them so that they approach the wave 'side' first, ie. so
that the body of the device does not shade the lagging pad/s.
One of our assemblers has requested that they approach the wave at right
angles to this. Or is this no longer a problem anyway, with turbulent wave
machines?

regards,

Phil.
