Hello TechNet gurus, Just after some comment on the correct orientation for wave soldering of SOT-23 devices. I've always placed them so that they approach the wave 'side' first, ie. so that the body of the device does not shade the lagging pad/s. One of our assemblers has requested that they approach the wave at right angles to this. Or is this no longer a problem anyway, with turbulent wave machines? regards, Phil. Phil Dutton C.I.D.
