Hello TechNet,

and, once again, I have to probe your fantastic resource.

Pretty soon we'll get into using PC/104 and PC/104-Plus connectors.
Honestly, they do not look that innocent to me, especially the ones with
four rows of pins.

What I need to know is:
- what precautions have to be observed while handling them, prior and after
insertion, in order to avoid bent pins
- they seem to need a certain force while inserting, how to go about
insertion, if the PCB has previously been solder printed and SMT components
are on it, waiting for reflow
- any special DFM requirements
- what seems to work better, intrusive or integral solder?

I'm sure that some of you must have more issues so, please, give me a hand.

Thanks,

Ioan
