Hi Mike,

If you are looking for an in-depth book on acid copper plating for circuit
boards --I'm afraid it's not something that can be easily found.  Lowenheim
wrote a couple of classic books on general electroplating awhile back.
"Electroplating" (ISBN 1 872422 03 9) is one of them.  Still a pretty good read.
There is a number of good fundamental books on electrochemistry -- probably an
overkill.  Then, there are plating industry periodicals:  "Plating and Surface
Finishing" and "Metal Finishing".  Patent literature, which can be pretty useful
if you have the time for that sort of thing.  Finishing Publications out of UK
www.finpubs.demon.co.uk/finpubs.htm offers some literature on plating including
a CD-ROM, which seems to be a massive compilation of various publications on
plating/finishing.  Aside from that, because of proprietary nature of the
chemistry, the technology on the market today is way ahead of what is in public
domain.  Depending on your particular area of interest I might have something in
my collection that could be useful -- let me know off line.
