Good Morning my Swedish TechNet Junkie,
It probably will be early morning again when you log-on and download all the
new and good messages, to gather ADVICE and gain KNOWLEDGE from all your
FRIENDS.
You must be an "engineer", all logic and no feelings. Of course, the first
millenium started on the first of January in the year 1, so the 3rd (notice
the "three" in that) millenium starts on the first of January in the year
2001. But who at the start of the first millenium knew that it was a new
millenium, did they roll from the year -1 to the year 0 to the year 1? Did
they even know it was "January" again?

Ohh, my head hurts thinking about all the non-possibilities and number
games. And - now that the nineties are over, what are we going to call the
"00"?

Go with the flow, feel the new millenium coming, then you will "know" that
it starts in a few days --- have a party (I thought that the Swedes have a
special, strong, warm winter drink rather than cold Budweiser) !!

In any case, to you and all the other TechNetters,

        A Joyful Holiday Season
And a Very Happy new Millenium

Importance: High

Good Day, netfriends,
are you too trying to get rid of the habit to open TechNet every day? The
company's MD gave me the advice to take one day free and stroll in the
nature for relaxation, but unfortunately I have a laptop and a mobile phone
with GSM and possibility to download Internet, and I happened to take that
with me instead of rucksack and coffee, so that didn't help. My wife asked
me o leave my glasses at home, but at my job I opened the PC and replaced
the 19" screen with a superlarge screen TV, so that did not help either, I
still opened TechNet. My boss unscrewed the bus cable and hid it in his
safety box, but I knocked down a guy in the other room and took over his PC.
TechNet..TechNet..I must read TechNet. The salary dept told me to stop
reading TechNet every morning, if not they would lower my income...but they
realized it could not be much lower. My net guy removed the web access,
but I told them I had a cold and went home for one or two days, locked
myself in and used my home !
!
!
PC, reading every TechNet mail. I had a glass of pumkin wine and walked
around on the carpet waiting for that 'bleeep' that told about a new
incoming mail. So that did not help either. TechNet..TechNet...I
demonstrated TechNet for two other members, and they got it too, they are
also addictive now. TechNet..TechNet... when i start my PC in the morning,
the Win Autostart opens a program showing the 10 in top most wonderful
women, but I have made program that interrupts that first program withing 5
seconds and loads TechNet immediately afterwards..TechNet..TechNet.. nothing
helps....And I'm glad for that! TechNet is my Agatha Christie, my morning
meal and my relaxation. TechNet is better than Kellogs Cornflakes, even
comparable with a glass of best beer (Coopers excluded, of course, and
Budweisser).

Now, friends, the traditional, serious and healthy and sane part of my
message

Merry X-mas and
           a
Happy New Year!

I don't use the expression Millenium, because I think it's a little crazy
to celebrate the start of the year 2000, it should rather have been done on
the minute when year 2000 is passed and fulfilled. Don't understand.
