Thought some of you would like to know how Charlie B made out with his
surgery. Charlie is a member of our local SMTA chapter and both a industry
associate and friend. EMails and other correspondence for him can be sent to
Will Dauchy at the address below until he gets out of the hospital

As some of you have heard, Charlie Barker underwent heart bypass surgery on
Monday Nov 29.

I am pleased to report that the quad bypass procedure that lasted almost 6
hours
went very well.  He spent 24 hours in ICU and is now recovering in a private
room.  He is in good spirits, has been up and done some walking around.

The hospital is Memorial Southwest Hospital, 7600 Beechnut, Houston, Texas,
77074.  His room is 448.  The phone number in the room is 713-778-7448, but
please try to keep the phone calls to a minimum.

They don't know how long he will be in the hospital, but he will probably be
at home for six weeks when he gets to go home.

I will keep you posted on his progress.

Emails (and Snailmails) can be sent to me for Charlie.  I will see that he
gets hard copies.
