You can remove the tin/lead with a strong caustic. Check Circuit Technology
Corp's website at http://www.circuitnet.com/catalog/1153804.htm for Solder
Strip, used to remove solder from contaminated gold fingers before
replating.

Hi TechNetters:

I would like to remove the lead/tin coating on the external traces of
the PCB in order to expose the copper trace underneath the coating. How
can I do this?
