hi,

we occasionally put jumper wires between press fit pins because we ain't
perfect.  obviously we couldn't do this if the pins weren't protruding.
just a thought for you.

I have a query with a Pressfit connector and a backplane. The only suitable
connector available has pins of 4mm in length and the backplane is 4.2mm
thick. Obviously the pins do not protrude through the PCB, will this cause
any problems with reliability, strength etc?
