Yep, I could contribute a few, and a few oddball technical queries which I never bothered
you fellows with, like the guy who wanted aluminium solder because it would save on
freight costs compared to the regular stuff which contains lead which makes it heavy to
ship, and then there was the company that......

Maybe we really need a site/address/subject  (Alternatechnet??), an editor to volunteer to
collate and then maybe sell the collected works for charity. Just a Christmas thought.
