Good to see somebody still in tidy stone age like me, Wade :
I'd go to wave machine suppliers (in a very remote chance you'd not find
your optimal there, you can experiment with ceramic flow through
filters/aerators); they have a lot and cheap,
if you'd be very specific about the length you could always glue up couple
of smaller ones.
Or if you have few weeks to spare they'd cut you one in factory .
This is also dead easy to customize (both ends) from local plumbing/filter
shops .
Good point feeding long stone from both ends balanced ;
we run shop air via regulator (balancing tank helps);
original on machine air pumps weren't strong/steady/smooth enough .

Also, I know what you mean, but I found plastic one's that much easier on
maintenance and handling.
Still, pretty sure you know all this .

Subject: [TN] fluxing stones

Dear Technetters;
        I am looking for a source to buy fluxing or aerating 'stones' for my
foam fluxer. The 'stone' I am looking for is cylindrical and measures about
1.5" in diameter by about 15.2" long. I would prefer a ceramic 'stone'
rather than plastic and I would prefer to be able to provide air to both
ends or either end at my option.

All help is appreciated.
