As Kelly described, be cautious and proceed with facts.
One thought would be to establish baseline cleanliness specifications not
only with your current supplier, but with any candidates you may pursue.
Your product type dictates a clean PCB prior to any assembly operation.
Before making any changes in vendors, investigate and qualify their product
to your specification.
