but didn't J-STD-001, cl. 3 cover most MIL-spec items? Especially it covers
co-required design and fabrication specs (3.0), cleanliness (8.0, 8.3),
material/process Compatibility (3.4 and appendix D), process control (12.2,
11.1 and appendix E). As it seems the conversation from MIL to IPC won't
(and shouldn't) reversed back the next few years, and J-STD-001 could figure
out as "the" standard, probably MIL will focuse three fields (1. J-STD-001,
cl. 3-certification of the prod. sites , 2. certification of personnel, 3.
different deviations from mil to J).
What means FARS n' DFARS?
