I'll second that! Have also found that purchasing dental burrs that fit the
dremmel tool are great for small, critical areas. Spindle speed is somewhat
critical to the control of the tool. Too fast can jump and run across the
board destroying everything in its path. Too slow takes forever. Very speed,
starting slow and working up to the "comfortable speed". Continuously
variable tools are better than the step switched ones.

Hi Matt

Have had excellent success using Dremel tools and some of their truncated
cone shape carbide cutters.  Most skilled rework/repair operators can pick
up this type operation with a minimum of practice.  I recommend using some
sort of template or 1:1 visual aid to avoid cutting the wrong trace on
densly populated boards.

Using a small 2 flute endmill and a milling set-up also works well, space
permitting.
