Obtain a copy of ANSI/ESD-S20.20-1999.  This is the new ESD Control Program
standard
which has just been released.  It refers to ESD STM2.1 for a test method for
garments.
Contact me if you have any Questions on the ESD requirements.  The
laundering requirements should be identified in the purchase order with the
supplier of the service. Frequency of washing, laundering for ESD
compliance, number of smocks, are all items to be included in a purchase
order
Many garmet suppliers use a rule of thumb which multiplies the number of
persons that will use the smocks by 3 to determine the number of smocks
needed. This rule of thumb  is designed to eliminate turn around time for
the cleaning affecting the availability of the smocks.

Could any of experts educate me something about smock?  Does anyone measure
resistivity of the smock?  Is any qualification requirement for the vendor
to clean the smock?  How many times you can wash a smock? (someone told me
50 times only...I can see some calculator start going nuts on +,x $). or is
it OK as long as the resistivity meet the requirement of
EIA-STD-625?..Visual inspection for wear and tear is regular. any others?
check resistivity every day?  Thanks in advance.
