Well now, Just couldn't resist a response.

Regarding Patricia's response below, she is absolutely right. However, Steve
made the choice that made sense to him at the time. I too have been
criticized for putting work ahead of family and still do frequently.. It's
not sad, it's just a choice. You see, as cold as it sounds, buyers and
customers don't really care about personnel loss, sickness, or any other
personal things. They want their products delivered on time and that's all
they care about. Anything else is just an excuse. Small to medium size
companies survive due to the efforts of people like Steve. Smart Management
remembers and rewards those who sacrifice to make the company successful.
Afterall, somebody has to do it or it won't get done. And when it don't get
done, business is lost to competitors that get it done. Lost accounts in
many cases result in lost jobs which takes food of the tables of little
ones, eliminate insurance benefits, and in some cases result in loss of
residence. I suspect many of us can relate to those facts. The facts are
what they are. In this business you either have a do what it takes attitude
or you don't survive. It's that simple. Sometimes it just isn't pleasant.

Just my two cents...
