We've been going through the same exercise. In addition to Manex, we've
looked at packages from Fourth Shift, Macola & Expandable.  Manex seems by
far to be best suited for EMS providers from what we've seen. While all the
packages can probably be adapted to suit most needs, it appears to have the
insight into our industry that only comes from having been in the situation.
That said, all packages mentioned are fairly pricey, especially for a small
CM. One package I recently received literature on but haven't yet seen is by
DBA Software. From the literature it appears it covers all the bases but at
a significantly lower cost.  I'm sure there are things that you give up with
this, but it may be worth looking at, especially if your budget is tight as
ours is.
