Hello Technetters,

We are removing Conformal Coating Shinetsu type: X831-045.
The solvent to remove it is: Dow Corning Solvent OS-120. Immersion time: 2
hrs, then we use the brush to remove all residues and the last we clean in a
water/alcohol (50/50) solution.
The result is that 95% of the Conformal Coating is removed, but we have
some residues between a SOIC leads and in some chip components.

Do any of you have a better Solvent to remove the Conformal Coating?
or, Is there a process to have a better results?
or, Do we need to use a special conditions?

Saludos,
Mauricio Castro
