When you analyze this stuff, you analyze for HCl and active Ferric, and the
HCl analysis is REALLY difficult, we "collect" methods for this, and have
something like 6 different ones, on of which we developed ourselves. The
analysis for the Ferric itself often will change, depending on the metals
being etched.
