Well, I found out that you need not look any further than Adobe.  When you
install Adobe Exchange, it also installs a print driver called "PDF Writer".
So, using my GerbTool View/Plot software I first import the HPGL file into
the screen, then "print" to the PDF Writer. Simple as that, and works great
too.  Thought I'd pass it along.  Thanks to Tom DeSmit for this one, and
thanks to all for the input, and suggestions.
