Talking about Vision, we do not love these microscopes. We bought some, but they are too limited. You have to stay very still in front of that screen, as soon as you move your head in one or the other direction, you will loose the image. And the zoom did not work. Our favorites are Wild (now Leica). They are expensive, but on the other hand, you get a flexible top microscope with many options and acessories./Ingemar
Steve,
Have you actually used the Ersascope? I've gotten their demo CD showing all
the images and while it looks impressive, I'm wondering how well it works in
actual use?

<< I found that a microscope with which you can look at an object
(solder joint, component, assembly) from an angle (say, from 45 deg
from vertical) and rotate the objective around the object of interest
was very useful in observing assembly issues. While I'm not sure
who it was I bought this scope from (Wild? ) it was a stereoscope
and it was very useful.
Best regards
