Steve & Kelly,

Check out the work being done by the CCAMTF (Circuit Card Assembly and
Materials Task Force) They evaluated a number of combinations of surface
finishes conformal coatings and other factors (not sure about laminate) in
various environments including diesel fuel and hydraulic fluid.

Contact Ronald L. Iman w/ Southwest Technology Consultants.

CCAMTF is a joint industry task force and they presented at the last IPC
conference on surface finishes.

Yo Steve -

I hit the books this weekend on your fuel resistance question, and pretty
much drew a blank. I'm not certain that anyone is trying to directly
immerse a PC Assembly into a fuel tank without either protecting it with a
metal enclosure or a fuel resistant dip coat.

I have used several fuel resistant coatings and sealants over the years -
Goodyear Aerospace comes to mind -- you might take a look on the web in
their area.

I'll keep diggin and pass on anything I turn up.

Regards - Kelly
