My company is debating the value of conformal coating in our

     assemblies.  We work with high voltages in non-sealed drawer

     assemblies.  The environment is not too severe, it will be indoors but

     some areas have a fair enough amount of dirt in the air.



     The number one example we can think of is that the entire PC industry

     works without coatings, monitors in particular.  Does anybody know

     where I can get my hands on some studies for or against coating?
